The Grotto

Praying at the Grotto
Exposure: 2 minutes 3 seconds.

What can I say about The Grotto in Portland, Oregon? It is a place where Catholics go to pray, where college students go to trip, and where irreverent ex-Catholics go to laugh at the holy water and statuettes sold in the gift shop. It is also a fantastic place for pinhole photography.

I don’t know how to describe it so I will just link to their website so you can go read all about it yourself if you are so inclined.

I liked several of the photos that I took that day. I guess The Lord likes pinhole photography too.  Or the Photography Gods like The Grotto.  Either way, I’ll take it.

You can see more from this excursion on my blog, Blatherskite.
