Multnomah Falls is the most famous of all of the Waterfalls along the Columbia Gorge. For good reason! It’s easy to get too. But it is also magnificent in its grandeur. It flows year round from the top of Larch Mountain (which is also a must-see destination if you are visiting the area. You can see the mountain peaks of Rainier, St. Helens, Adams, Hood, and Jefferson on a clear day). The place is very touristy and generally crowded with people. But if you find yourself facing the waterfall on the bridge and feel the mist of the water hit you as you hear the roar of the water as it collides with the pool at the bottom, it is worth it.
