The Abbey was founded by Murchadh O’ Melaghin, King of Meath in 1147 making it one of the oldest buildings that I have ever pin holed. The ruins are in reasonable condition for something that effectively fell out of use in the 1500’s. I was able to walk all around the grounds and the only interruption I had was when a heard of cattle took an interest in my tripod.

Thanks Moni, this whole project has me out shooting more and more with the pinhole. I have a bit pile of colour film on the way so we will see how that works out.

Awesome!! I’ve been thinking about the pinhole swap idea… We’ll have to revisit that idea at some point in the future.
